Ara Hakobyan
Artist, art expert, Doctor of Art Sciences, Professor, Member of the Union of Artists of Armenia, Member of Tekeyan Cultural Association.
Prof. Hakobyan was born in 1973 in Yerevan. Between 1990 and 1997, he completed his studies at the Department of Painting at Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts. In 2001, he mastered painting skills at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice, Italy.
Currently, he is the Dean of the Faculty of Art Education of Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University.
In 2002, Dr Hakobyan won the award for the best artwork at the exhibition of the Armenian Artists Union. In 2019, Professor Hakobyan received the Vahan Tekeyan Award.
